Oberkotzau/Karlsruhe. Gamma Communications plc (“Gamma”), a leading provider of technology-enabled communications services across Europe, has strengthened its leadership team in Germany following the acquisition of STARFACE in February 2025. The newly expanded management structure brings together key positions from Gamma, STARFACE and estos to intensify collaboration and drive a unified, strategic approach to growth in the DACH region.
The following persons will form the management in the future:
- Florian Buzin (3rd from left), CEO of STARFACE, will expand his responsibilities and take over as Managing Director of Gamma Communications in Germany, in addition to his existing responsibilities within the STARFACE Group.
- Andreas Hampel (1st from right), long-standing HFO Telecom Managing Director and renowned NGN SIP expert, is returning to the Group as Managing Director of Gamma Communications GmbH and will manage the SIP and NGN divisions in future.
- Christoph Scheuermann (1st from left), previously Head of STARFACE Product Management, now joins the STARFACE Group Management Board as Managing Director Product Management, Marketing and Operations.
- Alexander Seyferth (2nd from left), previously CEO of estos, will in future also be responsible for Sales, Customer Care/Customer Success and Academy within the STARFACE Group as Managing Director Sales.

- CTO of STARFACE continues to be responsible as Managing Director for Development, Quality Assurance, Operating System Deployment and Corporate IT.
- Gerben Wijbenga (2nd from right)
- expands his role and, as Managing Director Gamma Europe, now assumes overall coordination for Europe and, in this function, is responsible for the companies in the DACH region, the Benelux countries and, in future, Spain.
At the same time, continuity remains an important success factor within the Group: Peter Nowack will continue to manage the business of Placetel with his proven expertise and Dimitrios Nikolaidis will continue his successful work as Managing Director of Epsilon Telecom (Fusion IoT). Both will continue to report to Gerben Wijbenga, as will Florian Buzin. This stability in management forms a strong basis for the future development and sustainable success of the entire Group.
The current STARFACE COO Jürgen Signer will leave the company in May 2025 and take his well-deserved retirement – a step that had been planned for a long time and is not related to the takeover by Gamma.
