London, UK – February 20, 2025 – Gamma Communications plc (“Gamma”), a leading provider of technology-enabled communications services across Europe, is pleased to confirm that regulatory approval for the acquisition of STARFACE Group GmbH has now been granted.
With the fulfillment of all necessary conditions, the transaction has been completed and represents a key milestone in Gamma’s growth in the German cloud communications market. This acquisition strengthens our position as market leader and brings our total number of cloud seats in Germany to over 500,000.
This acquisition cements Gamma’s position as a leading challenger to the incumbent telecommunications providers in Germany and enables small and medium-sized businesses to benefit from the innovative communications solutions offered by STARFACE’s robust partner network.
Andrew Belshaw, CEO of Gamma
“By strengthening our management team, we are now setting the course to further expand our footprint in the market. The special thing about this is that we have been able to fill all the new positions with long-standing colleagues: both Christoph Scheuermann and Alexander Seyferth have been with the STARFACE Group for many years. I am particularly pleased to be able to win back Andreas Hampel – a long-standing partner and old acquaintance. All three are among the leading minds in the industry in their respective fields and we warmly welcome them to the management team.”
Further updates will follow as Gamma and STARFACE work together to further enhance their joint offering and continue to deliver best-in-class cloud communications solutions in Europe.
